Real Madrid x FC Barcelona

Hey everyone! I'm here to talk to you guys about all the Soccer that goes on Worldwide. Mostly South America & Europe. I will be writing in Portuguese for all the Brasilian reports and news! I Couldn't have started this Blog any better then by talking about one of the biggest Classic's in the world, Barcelona vs. Real Madrid! (Also known as "EL CLASSICO") The rilvalry between these two soccer giants make the world stop and stare at the television for 90 minutes. The battle between who is better, Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, is endless. In the first of four El Classico's (They will decide the 'Copa Del Rey' on Wednesday the 20th and also fight for a spot in the final of the 'Champions League' on the 27th of April and 3rd of May) both teams came out with a draw of 1-1. Both goals coming off a penalty kick. The goals were scored by the biggest idols of the current teams, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, one goal each. This game was initially considered to be a Spanish League "Final" and it had all the ingredients for one ; lots of fouls, yellow cards and a red, shots on the post, great saves, etc. Everything to make it an interesting game to watch. The result was better for Barcelona who are one step closer to becoming champions for the third time in three years. Every one of these games need a little controversy to it and in the initial half of play, about 25min, Messi gave a great pass to David Villa who invaded the area and collided with Goalkeeper Casillas and fell inside the area. Penalty? The referee didn't think so, and I also think it was a normal play, but we leave that for the ref to decide and get all the blame. Real Madrid was a very defensive team in this match-up and in result of that in the beginning of the second half, at 6min, David Villa sneaked in the area and the Real defender, Albiol, almost ripped Villa's shirt off. Penalty and a red card for Albiol. Shot taken by Messi with Casillas almost getting his fingertips on it, GOAL! Barcelona 1-0. After putting Adebayor and Özil to make the team more offensive, Real started creating more plays with Marcelo and Ronaldo. At about 36min of the 2nd half, Özil passes to Marcelo who gets clipped by Dani Aves in the area. Penalty for Real and Cristiano takes it, GOAL! 1-1. The game stayed like this until the final whistle. Better for Barcelona who played away, against their biggest rivals. Real Madrid depends on a miracle and hopes Barca loses 3 games. (Keep in mind that Barca has only lost 1 game during the entire season) We can safely say Barcelona are, once again, Spanish League Champions for the 3rd consecutive year. This will be an extra incentive for the next few games. Ronaldo still needs to prove that he can lead the team to a victory against the powerful Barcelona. Messi is doing what he does best and that is dribbling 1,2,3,5,7 players, leaving his opponents looking for the ball for days. It will be war and no one is going to want to lose it...
